Our office was assigned by a Germany based Forwarder to supervise the lifting, loading, lashing & securing operations of a gas turbine on board of a container vessel at the port of Antwerp, at berth 1700.
The turbine, weighing 185 MT, arrived by barge ex Germany for transloading by floating crane .
The cargo was successfully lifted, loaded and secured on a flat rack bedding on board the carrier, for onshipment to Houston (USA).
